Dave’s Lamont St. Auto Repair (formerly Beach Cities Automotive) was founded on June 1st, 1990 in the alley at 1841 ½ Garnet Ave. by David Piper.  At that time, we primarily worked on foreign import vehicles.  After a few years, driven by requests by our many satisfied customers, we started working on American vehicles as well.  The need for more space required a move to a larger building, our present location at 4448 Lamont St..  Over the years we have become one of the most honest and best auto service & repair shops in Pacific Beach.

On January 1st 2010 we changed our name to Dave’s Lamont St. Auto Repair.  David Piper is still the owner.  The reason for the name change was because Dave wanted to tie his name and the business location into the name of the business.

We specialize in auto repair and servicing American, Asian, European, and German cars, SUV’s and light trucks.  Dave is an A.S.E. Master Certified Technicians with over 30 years experience.  In the 20 years we have been in business we have added and changed many things in response to our customers needs to enhance our ability to service and maintain your vehicles to the highest standards.  What has not changed is our commitment to top quality servicing and repairing of your vehicles.
